The Hybrid Crossover Wave
The single biggest segment-mover in 2025 was the hybrid crossover. Hybrid versions now make up a large part of RAV4, CR-V and Tucson volume, and Toyota Motor North America sold 47.0% of its 2025 volume as electrified vehicles. Hybrid powertrains have become a default option in this body style.
